The region is indeed an unknown paradise in the archipelago

The Philippines is known for Boracay, Palawan, Batangas, and other beautiful attractions but what people do not know, there are a lot more breathtaking sceneries around the Philippines. There are many who are not aware that the Philippines has far more beautiful beaches other than the famous ones. An island filled with natural beauty nomally attracts investors on tourism but Samar and Leyte moved far from the list of te most visited provinces. Sighrs of potential development were planned but the lack of facilities, technical access and discouraging rumors of rebellion prevented these from happening.

Adventure travelers with experiences on remote explorations bravely moved in to the almost inaccessible interiors particularly of Samar. Negative turned out beneficial for keeping its hidden beauty feom being unreasonably exploited. At least they are still able to keep their culture and heritage.

Surfing in this region is perfect

The massive winds of the Pacific make surfing a worthwhile activity in rugged coastlines. However, due to the rumors of military activity and poor transportation, the travelers were discouraged particularly surfers from exploring more of its surfing sites.

Ferdinand Magellan's Landing
